The 128th Anniversary International Medical Congress of the SLMA

The 128th Anniversary International Medical Congress of the Sri Lanka Medical Association will be held from 5th – 8th July 2015 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.
The vibrant academic programme would cover a multitude of timely topics with 21 symposia and 9 guest lectures with the participation of eminent local and foreign speakers from the profession. It would also encompass breakfast meetings and thought provoking lunchtime debates. Moreover, programme includes the illustrious Professor N D W Lionel Memorial Oration, Dr. S C Paul oration and the Dr. S Ramachanchran Memorial Oration. Several Pre and Post Congress workshops on important current aspects of health care such as patient safety, alternative medicine, sleep medicine, pain management and research and audit will be held linked to the main Congress.
The programme of the congress also contains several delightful events including the much-anticipated Doctor’s Concert and the SLMA Banquet.
This Congress would serve as an ideal forum to share and disseminate knowledge to a wider audience of health care professionals and the public, encouraging all stakeholders of health to connect, communicate and to collaborate for better health and health care.
