The Agricultural Research Symposium (AGRES) of the Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka is a significant event in the calendar of the university.
Objectives
To promote agricultural research, provide opportunity for undergraduates to present their findings with other institutions.
Overview
The Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management has been organizing the Agricultural Research Symposium of Wayamba University in Sri Lanka as an annual event of the faculty since 2001. During the symposium the research projects carried out by final year undergraduates under four disciplines namely, Horticulture and Landscape Gardening, Agribusiness Management, Plantation Management and Biotechnology are presented and evaluated.
