International Symposium on Agriculture and Environment: ISAE 2020

International Symposium on Agriculture and Environment(ISAE 2020) organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna will be held on 14th February 2020 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, in Mapalana, Kamburupitiya.
The objective of this international symposium is to bring together national and international academics and researchers in agriculture and environment sciences, and agricultural and environmental professionals to redefine agricultural and environmental policies that help to face emerging challenges and promote new horizons that foster enhanced agricultural and environmental performance.
Having recognized this incongruity, the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna attempts to pave the way to resolve this issue collectively with the stakeholder community in the agriculture and the environment sectors. Organizers believe that, ISAE 2020, their annual congregation platform, is the ideal platform to initiate this movement. Hence, ISAE 2020 focuses on exploring the possibilities of establishing a down-to-earth and long-lasting policy network dedicated to resolve conflicts between agriculture and natural environment while redefining the existing policies.
