6th IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Conference 2018

IEEE R10 HTC is a premier annual cross disciplinary conference that will bring together technologists, engineers, scientists, investors, representatives from NGOs, governments, academia, and industry. The conference will promote discussions and development of every humanitarian aspect including Health care, Social welfare, Poverty alleviation, Education, Disaster, Waste, Environment and water Management, Sustainability, Agriculture, Plantation, Fisheries, Food processing, Transportation and Women empowerment to present results of recent advancements in technology in order to help improve the lives of the impoverished.
The sixth chapter of the conference organized and hosted by IEEE Sri Lanka Section, will be held in Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Colombo, Sri Lanka from December 6-8, 2018. The fifth chapter was held in Bangladesh and the seventh chapter will be held in Indonesia. The theme of this year’s conference “Sustainable Technology for Humanity” is to draw special attention to the societal expectation on humanitarian technologies’ ability to provide practical and lasting solutions.
