The International Research Symposium on Pure and Applied Sciences (IRSPAS) 2018 organized by the Faculty of Science,University of Kelaniya will be held on 26th October 2018 at the Faculty premises. This time, the conference will provide a common platform for scientists all around the world to portray their research findings in a professional forum. “Advancements of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research towards Sustainable Development” has been identified as the theme for IRSPAS 2018 as this is a timely important and vital aspect in rapid development of today’s world.
IRSPAS 2018 is organized in an interdisciplinary manner in order to entertain abstracts based on scientific research relevant to the theme under four technical sessions; Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Software Intensive Systems and Multidisciplinary Research.
This international symposium allows the participants to explore the information related to their own areas of research as well as to provide opportunities to communicate with researchers in different disciplines to engage with the professionals from industry. Organizing committee highly encourages foreign scientists to submit abstracts as sharing experiences would be a valuable experience for conference participants. Necessary arrangements will be provided to facilitate foreign participants those who are not able to physically present to screen their oral presentations.
Symposium is open for undergraduates, graduates, researchers and innovators from the diverse disciplines.

Submission of Abstracts & Extended Abstracts: 15th August 2018
Notification of Acceptance / Rejection: 15th September 2018
Registration: 1st of October
Submission of camera ready abstract (upon acceptance of abstract): 15th October 2018
Registration fee for a paper presenter is Rs.1500.00 and for a foreign presenter it is US $ 100 (SAARC country participants US $ 50).
