Jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Collage of Pediatricians and Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya will be held in Kandy on 6th and 7th September 2017.
Sri Lanka-Japan Study Center organizes the conference on Sri Lanka-Japan Collaborative Research (SLJCR) annually, which allows scientists to exchange the latest advances in their fields of study and provides an environment that fosters and share new collaborations and research ideas. This International Conference: SLJCR-2017 is a forum for a multi-disciplinary audience of researchers from Japan and Sri Lanka, with various backgrounds to present their collaborative research outputs on the modern science.
The annual research session of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka is organized by Faculty of Health-Care Sciences at Auditorium of the faculty on 12th and 13th October 2017. The two day event will be inaugurated on 12th October 2017. Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment (MMDE) launched the “Sri Lanka NEXT - A Blue Green Era” programme to ensure Sri Lanka’s low carbon pathways to reduce global warming with respect to the Paris Agreement. Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) will hold its’ 73rd annual sessions in Colombo December 2017 . Established in 1944 SLAAS aims to promote, support and foster scientific endeavor and technological innovation in an ethical, humane, and sustainable manner for the benefit of the people of Sri Lanka. This year the annual sessions will be organized under the guidance of the general president of the SLAAS Eng. V Ragunathan and supported by other members of the SLAAS. National Science Foundation will co-organize the event with the host institution The Open University of Sri Lanka.
2nd International Conference on Tropical Medicine organized by the Centre for Research in Tropical Medicine of the faculty of medicine, University of Peradeniya will be held in Kandy, Sri Lanka on 8th and 9th of December this year. The conference will be held under the theme "Global Alliance to Combat Tropical Diseases"
