Due to the pioneer work done for patients with Chronic Kidney disease he was awarded as Most Innovative Outstation Physician in year 2013. \n  \nProf. Meththika Vithanage  – Prof. Vithanage is a senior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies\, Kandy\, Adjunct Associate Research Professor at the University of Southern Queensland\, Australia and a TWAS young affiliate fellow. Her research is focused on soil and water. She has contributed to more than 80 journal articles and 20 book chapters. She is the winner of TWAS-NSF Award (2016) for the best young scientists and SUSRED award (2016) for research supervision. \n  \nDr. Dilantha Dharmagunewardene  – Dr. Dharmagunewardene is the Director\, training at Education\, Training and Research Unit of Ministry of Health. He is an alumni of Colombo Medical Faculty. He completed M.Sc. (Medical Administration) in 2007. He obtained his M.D. (Medical Administration) in 2013 and completed a fellowship in Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore for his Post MD Training.
